Today we’re going to talk all about mice! Not the critters, but the thing you’re currently using to scroll through these blogs. I’ll go over a few of our favorites with some pictures of the models we have here.
For starters, my all time favorite mouse is the vertical mouse by Evoluent (pictured below).
I felt like making the switch from a traditional mouse to this one was simple (after putting my hand over top of it a few times awkwardly). It’s very easy to use and I have never noticed any sort of “mousing lag” while using it with my laptop. I use the smaller mouse, but there is a larger size. It’s definitely a more comfortable position for the wrist and I have found it alleviates a lot of ulnar-sided wrist pain in my patients. Make sure you get the wireless version!
Laura’s favorite mice are the vertical mouse I mentioned and also the oyster mouse (pictured below). She likes the adjustable height option of the oyster mouse and the ability to use it with either hand. This is helpful if you are having bilateral problems and need to give one hand a break.
