Our certified hand therapist Laura McCarthy, OTR, CHT works with a wide variety of patients, from local high school and college students to the musicians of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra to seniors with a variety of arthritic conditions.

- Medical Information Form
- Patient Registration and Financial Agreement Form
- Privacy Notice
- Patient Participation Agreement
What to Bring to Your Appointment
Please bring the following items to your first appointment:
- Insurance card
- Photo identification
- X-rays, MRI’s, nerve conduction studies, or other test results
- Completed versions of all five forms above
In certain cases, you may be required to also bring the following items with you. If you are not sure whether you need to bring these items, please call the LB Hand Therapy office at (410) 997-0037.
- Prescription from your doctor
- Referral if needed by your insurance
- Worker’s compensation information
Insurance We Accept
LB Hand Therapy accepts the following insurances:
- Aetna (all plans)
- CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield (all plans)
- Medicare and Medicare DME Supplier for Custom Orthoses
- Prime Health Worker’s Compensation Network
If your insurance is out of network, we require you to pay out of pocket, and we will supply you with a bill to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
We do bill in-network insurances. The cost of each hand therapy appointment varies based on the type of treatment administered during the appointment. Bills can be paid with cash, checks, or credit cards. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
We do charge a $50 missed appointment fee for appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance. If you miss your in-person ergonomic assessment, you forfeit your 50% deposit.
