We Want to Help You
Here at LB Hand Therapy, our goal is to make you better! We want to work with you to achieve your health goals. In order to help you achieve your health goals, we provide individualized, one-on-one treatment. This is what sets us apart from the rest. We do not double-book. For the length of your appointment, you will be one-on-one with your therapist. We also try to keep you with the same therapist throughout the duration of your therapy.
Benefits to Individualized, One-on-One Treatment
- The patient is more comfortable and able to discuss concerns or goals. Being one-on-one with your therapist allows a safe place for you to express your goals. We want to be sure we’re meeting your needs and expectations for treatment.
- Your therapist can spend your appointment solely focused on you. This allows time for education on your diagnosis or surgery as well as education on self-managing symptoms going forward. We want to empower you with knowledge.
- With designated one-on-one time, your therapist can do an extensive evaluation and gather all the necessary facts about your history. With the entire picture, your therapist can better help you.
- One-on-one treatment allows for better outcomes over time and less therapy costs. If we maximize your time while spent with us, hopefully that means less appointments over time will be necessary. We want to make the most of your time with us!
What Makes LB Hand Therapy Unique
In addition to one-on-one treatment with your therapist, our office typically runs on time. Like we said above, we want to make the most of your time with us. We try our best to begin your appointment on time and get you out in time to get on with your busy lives.
We also try our hardest to keep your appointments consistent with the same therapist. Occasionally emergencies and vacations happen, but typically you are able to stick with the same therapist for each appointment. This allows for continuity of care and we feel this helps our patients progress more quickly since your therapist can adjust your program each visit as needed.
With extra one-on-one time with your therapist we can often get to the root of your issues. We want to help you avoid unnecessary surgery and feel better.
